Rotary Cylinder

The rotary cylinder was specifically designed for installation on all Battioni and Pagani compressor models. This interchangeability is enabled by the hydraulic unit, which is mounted directly on the valve’s rotary pin and secured to the compressor with two adjustable brackets. The connection between the rotary cylinder and the valve pin is specific to each model.

It is very compact in size, works with the tractor’s hydraulic system, and can be operated from the driver’s seat via a manual distributor or a solenoid valve.

The hydraulic unit is constructed of materials that ensure long-lasting operation. The toothed pinion is mounted on sealed bearings, and all seals are made of wear-resistant material.

Two brass valves are installed on the upper part, which connect to the tractor’s hydraulic system. Their function, in addition to supplying oil for motion transfer, is to offer the operator the ability to adjust the oil flow while maintaining the same power, allowing them to adjust the rotation speed as needed, thus unloading the pump without performing a full rotation.

We then inserted a stainless steel mesh disc with a 0.20 mm mesh and a thickness of 0.17 mm inside the two valves to prevent foreign bodies from entering the cylinder chamber, a common occurrence in hydraulic circuits. Recently, we have undergone a minor overhaul to further improve its performance and durability.

New, much higher-performance seals and self-lubricating piston rings add robustness and protect the sliding sleeves. We inserted a flat gasket on the pinion hidden by the lower bearing, and a static O-ring was added under the galvanized disc covering the upper bearing to ensure the cylinder is sealed against atmospheric agents.

Many small improvements derived from field experience demonstrate our desire to follow our customers’ suggestions.
